Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how our radio apps (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handle information when you use them. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

No account

We never ask for your name, email or phone number.

On your device

Favorites, searches and theme stay on your phone.

Third parties

Ads, analytics and crash reports are handled by Google.

01

No account required

You can use the App without creating an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other information that directly identifies you.

02

Information stored on your device

The following settings are saved only on your device and are never sent to us:

  • Favorite stations
  • Recent searches (up to 5)
  • Theme Mode (System, Light or Dark)
  • Whether the App has already asked for notification permission

You can remove this information at any time by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App.

03

Information sent to our server

To show the station list, the App sends its app identifier to our server. When a station fails to play, the App sends a report containing only the station identifier and the time of the failure, so we can fix broken stations. These requests do not include any personal information.

Like most web services, our server provider (Cloudflare) may temporarily process your IP address to deliver the service and protect it from abuse.

04

Radio streams

Stations are streamed directly from the radio stations’ own servers. When you play a station, that station’s server receives your IP address and basic device information, as with any internet connection. We do not control these third-party servers, and their own privacy policies apply.

05

Song artwork

To show artwork for the song currently playing, the App sends the song title and artist name to the Apple iTunes Search API. No personal information is included.

See Apple’s privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy

06

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App shows ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use information such as your device’s advertising ID, IP address, device model, operating system and app usage to show ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud.

Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK and certain US states), the App asks for your consent through Google’s consent form before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time under Settings › Ad privacy settings in the App (when available in your region). You can also reset or opt out of your advertising ID in your device settings.

07

Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase)

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used, for example which screens are opened and how long the App is used. Firebase Analytics may collect an app instance ID, device model, operating system version, app version, approximate location (country or city, based on IP address) and usage events.

We use Firebase Crashlytics to find and fix crashes. When the App crashes, Crashlytics collects a crash report that may include the device model, operating system version, app version, the state of the App at the time of the crash and an installation identifier.

This information is used only to improve the App and is not used to identify you personally.

08

Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

On Android 13 and later, the App asks for permission to send notifications the first time you open it. If you allow it, we may send occasional notifications, such as news about the App or its stations. To deliver them, Firebase Cloud Messaging assigns your device a registration token.

You can turn notifications on or off at any time in Settings › Notifications in the App, or in your device settings.

09

Data retention

Stream failure reports are kept for up to 90 days. Data collected by Google AdMob and Firebase is kept according to Google’s retention policies. Settings stored on your device remain until you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App.

To learn how to delete your data, see our Data Deletion page.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when they are published on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised.
